Giving

Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us about a baseline standard for giving: the tithe (a word that literally means a “tenth”). When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific projects at our local church and to other organizations and causes that we personally believe in.

Whether you’d like to give a single gift, schedule recurring donations, or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It’s quick, easy, and secure. Both PushPay Giving and 3Crosses Church maintain full Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance via the SecurityMetrics PCI Certification Program, which means your data is rigorously protected through the industry's strictest equipment safeguards and security protocols. That means you can give with confidence!

Stocks & Mutual Funds

Donating stock that has grown in value can make a great impact at 3Crosses with no capital gains tax paid by the donor. Donors can take a charitable deduction on their federal income tax for the market value of securities at the time of stock transfer. Donor Advised Funds

You can make a gift to 3Crosses via a Donor Advised Fund. Please keep in mind that your tax receipt will be issued by the fund, not by 3Crosses. If you wish to make a gift toward a pledge, please be sure to notify the Donor Advised Fund so that we know to record the gift as such. 3Crosses' tax ID is 94-1565322.

IRA Contributions

If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you can do something special with your IRA while reducing your tax burden: you can transfer up to $100,000 each year from your IRA account to a qualified charity (501c3).

When you make this transfer directly to your charity, you will receive several benefits:

• Your gift counts against your required minimum distribution

• The gift does not add to your adjusted gross income so it does not impact future Medicare income calculations, which may lead to higher premiums

• Making your gift directly to the charity avoids the percentage limitation on charitable contributions

Please check with your IRA administrator or your tax advisor for more information about how you can multiply the impact of your IRA.

When are they sent out?

Giving statements for 2025 will be EMAILED out before the end of January, 2026. If we do not have an email for you, we will send it in the mail.

What if I don’t have an email?

No problem! We will automatically snail mail any statements that we don't have an email address for.

I moved and/or got a new email address. How can I update it?

Easy! Please just email us at devon@3crosses.church and let us know your new info. We will update our records.

What if I didn’t receive my statement?

We are happy to help! We are thankful to have so many donations to record each year, but we're only human so we are bound to make a mistake now and then. Sometimes it's as simple as someone having the same name as you. Whatever the issues, we are happy to resolve it. Please just email us at devon@3crosses.church.
